Wednesday was the Graduation Ceremony at Logan's school. I have loved Logan's school/daycare. He has been going there since he was a year old. I have loved all the teachers Logan and Colton have had! And even though I quit my job in February of this year, I kept Logan enrolled for the school and social aspects.

A little background: Logan started the preschool program at the daycare when he was three, had a second year of preschool when he turned four, and although I could have put him in public school kindergarten this past August when he turned 5, I wanted to wait another year so he would be the oldest instead of the youngest in his class. So he will be going to Kindergarten at Herriman Elementary this fall, but was still in the kindergarten class at the daycare 2 days a week since that was his age group. Make sense? If not, just pretend and go with it.

At the beginning of the ceremony, they all said the Pledge of Allegiance, sang a couple of songs and each child shared a poem they had memorized!

Logan's poem:
(for those you know about my cow fetish, this poem is fitting for my kid!)
The Purple Cow
I never saw a purple cow.
I never hope to see one.
But I can tell you anyhow,
I rather see than be one.
Then the kids each got to get up and tell everyone 2 things they learned this past year. Logan told us how he learned about 'homework' and 'how to write top to bottom and left to right.'
Logan also received an award for having the best handwriting in his class.

It was so much fun for Logan and all his friends! I know he will miss them!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Richards for driving up to see the graduation!

Grandma Harker also came, but spent most of her time holding a fussy Colton in the hall so that mom could enjoy the ceremony. Thanks Grandma Harker!

Congratulations Logan! Your Dad and I LOVE you and are so PROUD of you! (Colton is proud of his big brother too, even though you can't tell that by looking at this photo!)
Cute boys and cute pictures. It's fun to see pics of your parents. you need to blog more, I like seeing what you are up to.
