Well, we survived another Easter! This year was fun because Logan was really into the Easter Bunny coming to our house to give him candy!!! We had a fun time coloring eggs the day before.
Logan was full of questions leading up to Easter - "Do bunny's eat eggs?", "Where does the Easter Bunny live...Disney Land?" (He thinks everything/everyone lives in Disney Land, from his favorite Transformers to his favorite super heros), "What color is the REAL Easter Bunny?". So many questions....
Easter morning Logan had more questions - "Why did the E.B. bring me this kind of candy?", "Why did the E.B. hid my eggs?". It was "why this..." and "why that... " most of the morning, but Logan had a blast looking for candy and eggs. Colton didn't know what to make of it and just stared at Logan running around. I think he was more interested in when he was going to get his breakfast!
The night before Easter, we went to my sister's house for a family dinner. My mom's parents were in town so it was fun for my kids to meet their Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa for the first time. It was fun to catch up with them and visit with my family.
Easter day we headed over to Rhett's parents house for dinner. Not all of his family was able to join us, but we had a great dinner and a wonderful time hanging out and playing!

ReplyDeleteWe had the kids leave out our colored eggs for the Easter Bunny to take back home for his little bunnies to eat (so yes, OUR Easter Bunny eats real eggs.) Of course, they don't know that the EB dumped those smelly eggs in the garbage ASAP. We'd had them for almost a week. Yuck.

I am glad you started a Blog. You are already a pro with your cute background and such. Even if no one but you reads it, it is a great way to journal about your little family (but now that I know you have one, I will read it too.)
