Happy Easter!

Well, we survived another Easter! This year was fun because Logan was really into the Easter Bunny coming to our house to give him candy!!! We had a fun time coloring eggs the day before.

Logan was full of questions leading up to Easter - "Do bunny's eat eggs?", "Where does the Easter Bunny live...Disney Land?" (He thinks everything/everyone lives in Disney Land, from his favorite Transformers to his favorite super heros), "What color is the REAL Easter Bunny?". So many questions....

Easter morning Logan had more questions - "Why did the E.B. bring me this kind of candy?", "Why did the E.B. hid my eggs?". It was "why this..." and "why that... " most of the morning, but Logan had a blast looking for candy and eggs. Colton didn't know what to make of it and just stared at Logan running around. I think he was more interested in when he was going to get his breakfast!

The night before Easter, we went to my sister's house for a family dinner. My mom's parents were in town so it was fun for my kids to meet their Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa for the first time. It was fun to catch up with them and visit with my family.

Easter day we headed over to Rhett's parents house for dinner. Not all of his family was able to join us, but we had a great dinner and a wonderful time hanging out and playing!

We had a wonderful Easter and hope you all did as well!

Cookies Anyone?

So last Saturday I invited Logan's cousin Elliott over to play. We decided to make Easter cookies. We had a lot of fun and the boys did a pretty good job. Unfortunately the cookie dough spread too much during baking and so you can't tell that they are suppose to be bunnies, baby chicks, flowers and Easter eggs. Oh well, they taste the same regardless. Watching them frost the cookies, then licking the knife and dipping it back into the frosting made me glad that I frosted some cookies before they did! I am sure I will find colored sugar sprinkles all over the kitchen/family room for days! But both Logan and Elliott had a good time! Here are some pics of the day.

Looks Yummy Boys!

Thanks for comming over Elliott! We had fun!

I Don't Want To Grow Up!

So the other day, Logan told me he didn't ever want to grow up and leave our house. I told him that was sweet, but one day when he got older he would want to move out and live on his own. (Of course, in my head, I am thinking that I don't want him to grow up and leave either) No, he assured me, he didn't ever want to leave our house... not unless he could take his Wii with him. Seriously...?!
